Guialani said: "Allah has made it haram to kill children; Allah has made it haram to kill women; Allah has made it haram to kill elderly people."

The APDI also issued a statement condemning the recent explosions and bomb scares that have prompted local authorities to raise terror alert levels in Mindanao.

The sermon condemning terrorism was also delivered by Ustadz Abdulwahid Inju in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi; Mufti Julasiri Abirin in Sulu; Adas and Ustadz Kamarudin Baulo in Maguindanao; Mufti Mahmood Pulangi in Lanao Sur; and Ebrahim and Guialani in this city.
