Over 5,000 Muslims in India condemn terrorism, march for peace on Eid day
Mumbai, Dec. 7: Condemning terror attacks in Mumbai which claimed at least 183 lives and injured more than 300 people, Muslim organisations today held a peace march from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus(CST) Railway station to the Trident-Oberoi hotel.

[...]On December 9, the Bakr-Eid celebrations will be sober. Muslims from all walks of life will organise a black ribbon protest.
Former Indian cricket team captain Mohammad Azharuddin in an interview to a newspaper has said, "The protest will send out a strong message to the world. Everyone wants to live in a safe environment, and terrorism in the name of Islam has gone on for too long."
